What this app is

The MT Research app is an internal tool of the Facebook Page “MT Research”, used only by the Page’s admins to read the Page’s own statistics: plays, watch time, followers, shares, reactions and the comments under the Page’s own posts. It offers no login to the public, and nobody installs it or grants it anything.

Data the app reads

• Statistics of the MT Research Page and its own posts and videos (aggregate numbers, not tied to a person).
• The text of public comments under the MT Research Page’s own posts, with their time, like count and reply count.

The app does not store commenters’ names, profile pictures or IDs, and reads nothing from anyone’s personal account.

How the data is used

Only to understand which videos and lines viewers like, finish or ask about, so the Page can make better content. It is not used to target individuals with ads, and it is never sold, given or shared with third parties.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On the Page admin’s own computer only; it is not uploaded to any server or other service. Statistics are kept as daily snapshots to compare videos by age; comments are overwritten on every fetch, so a comment you delete on Facebook disappears from our data at the next fetch.

How to have your data deleted

If you commented under an MT Research post and want that comment removed from our data, either delete the comment on Facebook (it disappears from our data at the next fetch), or message the MT Research Page on Facebook with the post link and the comment text. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
